=========== Screenshots =========== .. note:: **No screenshots yet.** The two images in the repository's ``screenshots/`` directory came with the Angband base and show Angband 4.2.6 — its title screen and a dungeon level. Neither shows ZangbandTK, so neither is published here. Captures of the actual game will replace this page. What will be here ================= The game renders as Angband 4.2 does, so a dungeon level looks much as Angband's does and is not worth a page of its own. What is worth showing is what Angband cannot show: **The wilderness.** A continuous surface 2064 grids square, scrolling as you walk, with terrain following from height, population and law. This is the single image that says what ZangbandTK is. **The town standing in the world**, with roads leading out of it, rather than sitting on a level of its own. **The coast**, where the world ends in open sea, and the deep water that can be waded into and drowned in. **The bestiary**, showing monsters Angband does not have: the princes of Amber and the Mythos deities, at the point of being recalled or fought. **A vampiric or chaotic weapon** discharging, since those three weapon mechanics have no Angband equivalent. Until then, :doc:`features` describes all of this in words, and :doc:`wilderness` covers the world in detail. Taking your own =============== If you build the game — see :doc:`download` — Angband's screenshot command captures the current screen to a file in your user directory. Screenshots of the wilderness, in particular, would be a welcome contribution; they can be attached to an issue on `GitHub `_.
